Wyatt in the WYLD was born from nightly reflections with my son. What I thought would be a sweet little gift for him to grow with quickly turned into something pretty wyld.

This picture book series is for kids and for the grown-ups who love them, because we’re all navigating the Wyld World together.

The WYLD WAY helps us learn to connect our inner wyld, the outer wyld, and the wyld in-between. Grown-ups, get ready, because we’re not perfect, and we have some connecting and reconnecting to do ourselves. Your wyld hearts know. 🙂

MY WYLD HEART KNOWS

Wyatt in the Wyld is a growing collection of picture books, reflections, and resources designed to help us reconnect to what is real and gently stitch together our hearts, our emotions, our bodies, nature, and each other. The collage-style art reflects this truth… life is made of layers and is a little messy. We collect pieces along the way, we thread together what matters, we let go of what does not, and we shape something new as we grow. Just like the Wyld, we are evolving, shifting, and remembering ourselves one layer, one moment, one connection at a time.

The Wyld Way: connection at the center

At its core, Wyatt in the Wyld, is a reminder that we belong to ourselves, to each other, and to the living wyld that moves through all things. Our wyld is the natural, untamed part of us that is born knowing kindness, curiosity, wonder, and connection before the world teaches us otherwise. We are stars with our own light, and together we become constellations that help one another find our way. The Wyld honors the rhythms, cycles, and seasons of life… the ups and the downs… the growing and the becoming…life and death, and helps us remember that this wyldness is alive within us. That’s why our WYLD heart knows…

The Wyld Way doesn’t offer quick fixes or rigid rules. Instead, it offers gentle tools, stories, and language to help you:

Slow down enough to notice what your heart and body are trying to say.

Talk about big feelings and values in simple, honest ways.

Bridge what you were taught growing up with how you want to parent now.

Weave in the natural world…the moon, elements, tiny every day wonders and magical moments. 

The Wyld Way…just a Wyld, evolving way to be human.

It’s the part of you that remembers who you are beneath expectations and performance. The part that still notices dandelions, or stops to pick up a penny for good luck, the belly laughs, and tiny hands reaching for yours.

It starts with the Books

The Wyld Way Foundational Trilogy

The heart of this project is a foundational trilogy of picture books that gently connect mind, body, and spirit through three lenses: heart, emotions, and body. These stories are written for kids, but they’re absolutely for the grown-ups reading them, too.

My WYLD Heart Knows(Spirit/Soul)

Every child is born with a Wyld heart that is kind, compassionate, curious, and deeply connected. Wyld Heart helps children slow down, notice the world around them, and stay rooted in the natural wisdom they already carry. It nurtures the gentle pace, empathy, wonder, and presence that exist before the world rushes them along.

Instead of growing out of their WYLD, forgetting their inner knowing, or dimming their light to fit in, we can help children hold onto the Wyld Way of living. Helping them stay thoughtful, caring, appreciative, and connected to themselves and others.

Because your Wyld heart knows the way. That’s why this isn’t new, it’s something to remember.

My WYLD Emotions Know (Mind)

Mental and emotional wellbeing should start with our kids. Not when we’re adults. Wyld Emotions helps children build the tools, language, and confidence to navigate big feelings with grace, support, and healthy coping skills. Instead of unlearning harmful patterns later in life, we can give them what many of us probably didn’t have… space to feel, guidance to respond, and permission and grace to grow.

Because emotions aren’t something to “fix” they’re tools to help us learn about ourselves.

My WYLD Body Knows (Body)

Caring for our physical selves should be an everyday practice. Wyld Body teaches children to trust their body’s signals, honor their boundaries, and recognize how their body, mind, and spirit work together to guide them through the world.

Instead of pushing past discomfort, ignoring needs, or disconnecting from their inner wisdom, we can help them build body autonomy, respect for their vessel, and confidence to notice what feels right, safe, energized, tired, or unsure.

Because we only get one body, and it’s more than muscles and bones. It’s how we move, sense, express, and experience the ebb and flow of the Wyld within and around us.

TIME, LINEAGE & PARENTING

Connecting past, present, and future

Most of us were handed a mix of beautiful values, unspoken pain, and “we don’t talk about that here” energy. The Wyld Way doesn’t judge where you came from…it simply asks: What do you want to carry forward, and what are you ready to gently set down?

PAST

What we were taught

The beliefs, rules, and stories we absorbed growing up. Some life-giving, some heavy, some we’re still unpacking. We honor where we’ve been, without letting it have the final say.

PRESENT

How we’re choosing now

The messy, honest middle where we’re parenting, healing, working, and trying to make dinner on a Tuesday. This is where the books live: in real homes, with real kids, and real big feelings.

FUTURE

Who we’re raising (& becoming)

The humans we hope will move through the world with more kindness, awareness, and courage. Including the future versions of ourselves. We’re not striving for perfection, just more intentional, Wyld-hearted choices.

We are all born WYLD

The Wyld isn’t a brand-new idea. Every culture, family, and belief system has its own way of describing intuition, connection, emotional wisdom, and the unseen threads that guide us. We may use different language, symbols, practices, or teachings, but the heart of it is the same:

The goal is CONNECTION. To ourselves, to each other, and to the world around us.

The Wyld Collective & Resources

This is the start of something WYLD. Something untamed, evolving, and coming to life in real time. As the Wyld Collective expands, this space will expand with it. More trusted resources will be added across mental health, child development, emotional wellbeing, education, physical health, and mindful living. All curated to support families, caregivers, and the next generation connect to their WYLD. 

I may not be a mental health professional or have a wall of certifications, but I do know how overwhelming it can feel to search for guidance alone. The Wyld Way Collective is a stitched-together map of trusted humans, practices, and resources that support the values we care about…raising emotionally aware, grounded, curious kids while growing alongside them.

I’ll soon have:

  • Trusted mental health resources, parenting education resources to support emotional wellbeing and healthier family patterns

  • Books, podcasts, and organizations that nurture emotional literacy and nervous system health for kids and grown-ups

  • Child development, education, and play-based learning guides from experienced professionals who honor curiosity and connection

  • Introductory resources for mindfulness, meditation, movement, and nervous system regulation…simple, accessible, real-life friendly

This isn’t about perfection, diagnoses, or doing everything “right.” It’s about having support, language, and tools so you don’t have to figure it all out by yourself.

Hi, I’m Adeline Louise, and the heart behind Wyatt in the Wyld.

Welcome to my WYLD.

This is how I see the world…The WYLD WAY.

I will never know exactly who my son will become, but I can give him tools to learn, navigate, feel, and grow. I can help him take his wyld heart wherever he goes… and maybe even help others remember theirs too.

This is for young and old. A place to breathe. A reminder that kindness, curiosity, compassion, and presence are already inside us. In the WYLD we look for progress over perfection. We practice, play, and learn patience.

I am grateful you are here, even for a moment. I hope your wyld heart feels at home.
